I was super skeptical about this. I've been cutting my own hair for 20 years and somehow it still takes me about 30 mins (or more) to do just a simple fade. With this thing, I'm done in 10 mins. It's very far from perfect but the fade looks totally legit and it's so quick that I don't even care if it's not 100%. It does take some getting used to but once you do - it's super easy to use. If you cut your own hair and just need a simple fade tool - this is it. And the battery on this lasts forever. Plus, it's also a trimmer too so you can use it on your beard as well. Comes with 2 blades, one slightly longer than the other for longer hair. Wish that they would have included a blade that faced the other direction instead.

Tips: Hold blade at 90 degree angle to head. You must go back and forth all the way around in both directions right to left and then left to right, otherwise if you only go the way the blade faces it will give you an uneven fade. So yes, you are actually going to be cutting going backwards.
